Why are books challenged?
"Books are usually challenged with the best intentions- to protect others, frequently children, from difficult ideas and information". Most books are banned because of inappropriate content for younger readers. Teachers, parents and other people that challenge books normally do it to protect their children or students from unsuitable subjects.
